If you’ve previously opted for a “bundled minutes” or “free minutes” package but then can’t understand why your bills don’t come down it’s because these packages are structured so that the customer nearly always loses. Here’s why:

- If you use less than your inclusive allowance, you still pay for the full bundle
- If you use more than you inclusive allowance, you get penalised with high call charges.
- Not all types of calls are included in your inclusive bundle. International calls and calls to 0800, 0845   and 0870 are not included.

 Example:

Orange 1000 costs £80.85 i.e. 8.085 p per minute.

• In 95% of cases , a user will frequently use below or above the 1000 minutes.
• If they only use 750 mins then cost per minute increases to 10.8 pence per minute
• If they use above 1000 mins then cross network calls cost 30p per minute.
• If use use 1000 mins, but 250 of these are to international or 08 numbers, then your UK minutes still
  cost 10.8 p per minute and you have pay for the 08 and international on top of this!

	9/9 gives you all the benefits of low cross network call charges without downside of having to buy bundled minutes.
