![]() Carrier Pre-Select - Frequently Asked QuestionsQ. Do I have to change my telephone number?A No, there is no change to your current set up at all. We simply transfer your service on a like for like basis. Q Will there be any disruption to service?A The transfer is completely seamless. There is no need for an engineer to visit, no need to install any equipment or program your Telephone system. We are just switching the calls over at the BT Exchange by Carrier Pre Select (link to CPS page). You don’t have to do anything.. Q If I have a fault who do I call?A Ecocall. You have a dedicated Client Services Manager who will take ownership of resolving any issues you have with your service. We become your single point of contact. t services team are on hand to deal with any problems that may occur with your Ecocall account. The phone number that you need to know is 0845 4567 801. You will be dealt with by a real person, and there is no automated answering system or divert to voicemail.. Q - How can Ecocall be cheaper than BT?A.Ecocall's uses the most UK's most efficient network operators. We use group buying power to give our clients the same rates normally only enjoyed by much higher spending companies. Q Will I still get a bill from BT for Line rental?A In most cases no, as you will transfer your BT Line rental to Ecocall to as well (to receive up to 25% saving over BT). The only instance in which you will continue to be billed by BT is if you have outstanding contractual obligation with BT e.g. Many ISDN30 lines are in a 5 year contract with BT. Q How can Ecocall be cheaper than my current provider?A Ecocall's uses the most UK's most efficient network operators. Q Will connecting to BT effect my broadband connection?A No. Even if you switch over to Ecocall's network, you are still able to use your broadband connection with your current broadband service provider. The broadband connection is run down a separate analogue line, meaning there will be no effecting problems.
