IS THERE ANY DISRUPTION TO SERVICE WHEN OUR LINES SWITCH OVER?A No. The transfer is seamless, the line remains exactly the same, we just simple start billing you for it at a lower cost. We write to you to tell you the date your lines switch over to our billing, otherwise you wouldn’t notice anything different. Q HOW MUCH MONEY CAN WE EXPECT TO SAVE?A It depends on the types on lines you have. You will save at least 10% but it can be up to 25% over BT’s charges. Q WHAT IF BT MAINTAINS MY SYSTEM/WE RENT EQUIPMENT FROM BT?AAny separate charges for system maintenance or equipment rental (such as payphones and the like) will continue to be billed for by BT. However Ecocall will still bill for all the Line Rental charges, thus saving your business money. Q WON’T BT GIVE PRIORITY SERVICE TO THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS?A.No. Ecocall has equal access to BT’s 34,000 engineers. We have the same real time booking facilities to arrange engineer visits to your premises for example. Q WHAT IF MY LINES GO DOWN OUTSIDE OF NORMAL OFFICE HOURS?A Ecocall use the same service level cover options as BT. We can either take over your existing cover or advice you on a new cover level if you feel your current package is inappropriate. Any faults will be reported to BT in the normal way, and if necessary an engineer visit will be arranged usually for the next working day.
Q WHAT SHOULD WE DO NEXT?A If you are an existing Ecocall customer we simply need written authorization that you would like us to take over your Line Rental. This can be arranged by contacting your account manager on 0845 4567801 or email us . Once received, we will process the order and the line transfer will commence approximately 15 days from that date |
