Q What is our Relationship with Ecocall and Carphone WarehouseA We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Carphone Warehouse. Ecocall began as a company in 1999 and from there gained a healthy and sustained customer base. Carphone Warehouse saw the success Ecocall achieved, and in 2004, they acquired the company. Ecocall is still a separate company from Carphone Warehouse, but the relationship has broadened both our customer base and our profile. Q I have suffered problems I the past with other suppliers. What makes you different to other suppliers?A Here are a couple of reasons why we believe Ecocall is better than our rivals:
Q How can Ecocall be cheaper than BT?A.Ecocall uses the most UK's most efficient network operators. We use group buying power to give our clients the same rates normally only enjoyed by much higher spending companies. Q Will connecting to BT effect my broadband connection?A No. Even if you switch over to Ecocall's network, you are still able to use your broadband connection with your current broadband service provider. The broadband connection is run down a separate analogue line, meaning there will be no effecting problems. Q How can I be assured that Ecocall can continue to supply the best cost effective products in the future?A Ecocall has a successful and expanding product development team that is continuously looking at how to develop the company further and offer the best products to our customers. There is a continuing product program to enhance and promote new products to our customers. There is also a significant investment being made by Ecocall into new technologies, e.g. VoIP Services, and staff, in order so it can continue to deliver leading edge product and services. Q Why does Ecocall not advertise more?A At Ecocall, we are always on the look out for new customers. Ecocall works in a business to business environment and we feel our best approach is through networking and trade fairs. A lot of our customers are actually acquired on recommendation, further strengthening Ecocall's name. Therefore, we feel it is not necessary to use blanket marketing. As Ecocall is part of the Carphone Warehouse Group, we have a strong brand presence and can continue to push into new markets with the backing of our parent company. Q - What is e-Billing?A Electronic bill presentment, or e-billing as it is often known, is the new way of receiving your Ecocall bill each month. Q If I have any problems with my account, how can I get in touch with Customer Services?A Our client services team are on hand to deal with any problems that may occur with your Ecocall account.
